What Is PCNA’s Sample Policy?

We offer multiple sample types to help you and your customers make informed decisions:

Blank Samples (Undecorated)

Available for most products and can be ordered online.

Spec Samples

Decorated with your logo to help “sell the idea” with your customer’s branding.

Self‑Promos

Use your logo on select products to promote your brand — ideal for trade shows, client gifts, or sales pitches.

Sample orders under $10 are free. Shipping charges may still apply. Samples over $10 are billed at the published net cost.

How to Order a Sample (Blank / Undecorated)

  1. Log in to PCNA.com
  2. Search for the desired product.
  3. Open the product detail page for item information.
  4. Select the “Order a Sample” tab.
  5. Choose your color and quantity.
  6. Add to cart and check out.

No promo code needed — free sample discount applies automatically to samples under $10. Orders ship within standard lead times.

How to Order a Spec Sample (Decorated with Your Artwork)

  1. Choose your product(s) Select the item(s) you want to present to your customer.
  2. Select decoration method Choose from PCNA’s available decoration methods and locations.
  3. Create & validate artwork
    • Use vector artwork
    • Utilize the Online Art Validator to ensure accurate sizing and placement
  4. Prepare a purchase order
    • Item(s) and quantity (max 3 per item, up to 5 items total per order)
    • Decoration method and location
    • PO Note: “Spec Sample - 25% Off EQP”
    • Request email proof if needed
  5. Submit your order

Can samples be returned?

Samples are not returnable for credit unless defective or shipped in error.

Is there a limit to how many samples I can order?

Blank and Spec samples are limited to 3 per item and 5 items per order.

What if I want a sample with a specific imprint method?

Spec samples allow you to choose your preferred imprint method and location during the ordering process.
